Our Story

The love we have for Warrawong Estate is something we struggle to translate into words.

We, Ian and Angelica the owners, have a strong personal connection to the property, having fallen in love with it back in 2018. However, Ian’s admiration for the property dates back even further to his childhood when he would drive by and marvel at the massive Silos that are nestled on it. These beautiful silos, the breathtaking bluestone Woolshed and the vast expanse of land captured our hearts and the love and appreciation for the property continues to grow.

Despite the challenges we faced during the lockdowns, we were able to use our skills and creativity to transform Warrawong Estate into a stunning venue for weddings and events. Our background in building and interior design allowed us to envision and execute the renovations that have made this 165 year old Woolshed the multiple award winning venue it is today.

Despite the postponements and heartbreaks of our couples, we are proud of what we were able to achieve during this time and we are excited to see the events and memories that will be made in this beautiful space.

Our initial struggles as a family after the pandemic soon grew into a hectic schedule filled with various events and obligations. As much as we enjoyed the hustle and bustle, we also recognized the need for support and help in managing everything. It was during a Christmas family getaway that we met Rachel and Broden, who are now our trusted Events and Grounds Managers. It’s incredible how one simple conversation can lead to a deep and meaningful bond. Their support and dedication have been invaluable to us, and we now consider them a part of our family. This experience truly highlights the importance and impact of genuine connections in our lives.

And the Warrawong family continues to grow. We are incredibly proud of the dedication and passion of our staff at Warrawong Estate. Their hard work and commitment to providing exceptional service to couples, their guests, and vendors have resulted in our venue being voted as an ABIA Award winner for three consecutive years. This recognition is a testament to the strong work ethic, love, and energy of our team, and we are grateful to have such amazing individuals as part of our family.
